Dear Beautiful Soul,
Buy yourself that small thing you’ve been wanting.
Not because you’ve earned it.
Not because you’ve been productive enough.
Not because you need to justify it.
Just because it would bring a little joy to your day.
A favorite book.
A flower.
A warm drink.
A simple thing that makes your heart smile.
You spend so much time caring for others, showing up for others, and thinking about what everyone else needs.
Let this be a small reminder that you matter, too.
You do not have to wait for a special occasion to be kind to yourself.
You are allowed to enjoy life’s little gifts.
You are allowed to choose joy.
You are allowed to treat yourself with the same care you so freely give away.
